My career began working in community mental health, where I quickly learned that people do not exist in isolation. We are shaped by the relationships, families, and environments that surround us, and understanding those contexts is the key to understanding ourselves.

That curiosity led me to the University of Pennsylvania, where I deepened my understanding of the emotional connections between individuals and their families. I later received advanced clinical training at Haverford College, working with young adults navigating the transition into adulthood, before continuing my work with adults and their families in residential treatment.

My training at the Institute for Relational Psychoanalysis of Philadelphia further shaped the way I practice today. There I learned to listen closely to the stories our emotions tell. Rather than viewing emotions as obstacles to overcome, I came to see them as meaningful signals - our nervous system's way of helping us understand our experiences, relationships, and ourselves.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and stages of life. Personally and professionally, I have witnessed the profound impact therapy can have - not only on the individual, but on the relationships and communities that surround them.
